Chicago: Victoria’s Secret corporate announces in a report that they are working intensively with cops due to the missing 153 bras approximately worth near $10.000 US dollars. The incident happened at Victoria’s Chicago region.
On Monday morning before Christmas the thief struck a Victoria Secret’s store in Chicago suburban, stolen 153 bras and get away with it.
As reported by Chicago Tribune, the theft took place between 7 and 10 p.m. Dec. 20, and the bras’ total value was estimated at $9,675, an average of more than $63 each, police said.
“I’m assuming it was a display in the front of the store. They just come and sweep them off the display without being seen,” Northbrook Police Department spokesman Michael Shep said, adding that police have seen that type of maneuver in other retail thefts.
Meanwhile, there is still no recent news about the case’s progress; the police are doing further investigation of the missing bras.
